Sunken Tower ACTIVE is here!
The biggest update yet has arrived! So big it needed it's own subtitle!
Major Additions:
Double the enemies!
- 6 brand new enemies all ready to take you down!
Double the artifacts!
- 17 unique new artifacts waiting for you to yield their power!
Double the rooms!
- 50 previously undiscovered rooms have appeared in the tower! What monsters are guarding the exits?
A new adventurer!
- There's somebody new waiting to join your team!
Take the Tower by storm with Abilities!
- The cast are now equipped with powerful active and passive abilities!
The Vaults have opened!
- Great wealth awaits you if you can unlock one of these elusive doors...
Welcome to The Soul Market!
- Got some spare essence? Give it to The Fallen in exchange for powerful artifacts!
Brand new art and music!
All of this while looking at stunning visuals by CyberYellow and listening to a brilliant soundtrack by Someone Somewhere!
Smaller Additions & Changes
- Touch controls have been disabled. (They were not very good.)
- Removed the pause button on the top right.
- A lot of rooms have had their layout slightly altered to improve flow.
- Replaced the old font with a new, original font.
- Updated the logo to look generally better.
- Visually updated various assets.
- The Knight's blueprint "Persisting Slash" now lasts longer.
- Control prompts have been added to every interaction.
- Ghouldy gives insight into what you're buying.
- The Archer has been completely reworked.
- The Archer's blueprint "Aerodynamix" has been replaced with the new "Quick Charge" blueprint.
- Batteries have been added to the item pool.
- New splash screen.
- The "Who Knows" artifact now tells you what stat it increased.
- The "Achilles' Heel" artifact no longer increases your speed.
- You can now see the unlock conditions for new characters.
- Bombs which hit Bomb Flies interact differently.
- The game will let you know when it has saved.
- You will see a message before playing if saving is unsupported, along with instructions on how to enable it.
Bug Fixes & Improvements:
- The Knight's blueprints are more reliable.
- Fixed a bug relating to enemy hit visual feedback.
- Fixed artifacts appearing as "Crimson Cow" for 1 frame.
- Fixed health appearing to raise above the maximum for 1 frame.
- Opening the character select screen using left click is now more reliable.
- The Archer's arrows now interact with gates properly.
- Bombs can no longer collide with each-other in mid-air.
- The Archer now holds her bow in her left hand, and not backwards.
- Movement is now consistent between keyboard and gamepad.
- Holding run on a gamepad while next to a wall will no longer play the running animation.
- Slightly decreased the size of the Bouncy Spider's hitbox.
- Spiders no longer get stuck on spikes.
- Reworked enemy hit detection.
- Bombs now explode when colliding with closed gates.
- Explosions now harm the player.
- Ghouldy's goodbye message no longer affects how long it takes to leave the room.
- Pausing the game will now pause bombs.
